Hi! I’m Opal, a professional organizer based in Westchester, NY, and the founder of Organizing with Opal.
My love for order started early — both of my parents were extremely organized, and I grew up surrounded by systems that made life easier. From perfectly folded laundry to maximizing closet space, I learned that an organized home creates peace of mind. (And yes — my love for Tetris definitely came in handy when it came to packing boxes and making everything fit just right!) Over the years, that natural instinct turned into something more. Whether at home, school, or work, I was always the one reorganizing desks, merchandise displays, and filing systems. What started as a joke about becoming a “Professional Organizer” eventually became my full-time passion — and the most fulfilling career choice I’ve made. Today, I’m honored to be welcomed into my clients’ homes and trusted with their most personal spaces. For me, organizing isn’t just about making things look “nice” — it’s about helping you feel calm, confident, and in control of your environment. Together, we’ll create functional systems that work for you and your lifestyle, not against it. I approach every project with empathy, understanding, and zero judgment.
